Profit/Loss Calculator

Calculate potential profit or loss from any forex trade based on entry and exit prices.

How do I calculate profit and loss on a forex trade?

Profit or loss equals the pip movement between entry and exit multiplied by the contract size for your lot. On a buy, profit grows as price rises (exit minus entry); on a sell it grows as price falls (entry minus exit). The calculator applies the formula for your pair, lots, and account currency.

Contract assumptions
1.00 lot = 100,000 units · 1 pip = 0.0001 · pip value = 10 USD per lot
Contract sizes vary between brokers, especially on metals, energies and indices. Check your broker's contract specification before sizing a live trade.
